If you have suitable insurance cover and the cost of treatment exceeds your policy excess, we may be able to claim directly from your insurance provider.
To use our direct claim service, please follow these steps:
- Provide Grange Veterinary Hospital with your insurance company name, policy number, policy holder details and excess amount.
- Contact your insurance provider and give them permission to speak directly with us.
- If your insurer requires a paper claim form, it is the policyholder’s responsibility to supply this.
- The policyholder section must be fully completed and signed.
- The form must be provided to Grange Veterinary Hospital at the time of treatment.
- A separate form is required for each visit or medicine collection.
- If your insurer uses an electronic claim (claim link), the policyholder must arrange for the link to be sent to grangevetsclaims@gmail.com.
- A separate claim link is required for each visit or medicine collection.
- Please ensure you know your excess amount and are prepared to pay this at the time of treatment.
It is the policyholder’s responsibility to understand their insurance cover, including limits and exclusions. Please note that a direct claim is not a guarantee of payment by your insurance company. If the claim is declined or only partially paid, the account holder remains responsible for settling any outstanding balance.
Some insurance companies offer pre-authorisation before treatment, which can give a clearer indication of whether a claim is likely to be paid. It is the policyholder’s responsibility to check if this service is available from their insurance provider and initiate the process.
